The wonderful Shake Shack can be found all over the world, filled up with delicious, well cooked ‘fast food’, that’s made with great quality ingredients - expect mouthwatering burgers, refreshing slushes and crinkle cut fries. The Shake Shack in Cardiff is found in the iconic St David’s shopping centre, a short walk away from all of the must visit Cardiff city centre spots.

Shake Shack began as a hot dog cart in New York City's Madison Square Park, with a simple mission of raising funds for a public art project. As the brand transformed into a global business, their mission, Stand For Something Good, expanded. Now, it includes caring for their team, sourcing premium ingredients responsibly, designing eco-friendly Shacks, supporting communities through donations and volunteering, and more. Doing good is ingrained in Shake Shacks' roots, part of their DNA for 20 years, and they continue to grow and evolve their mission to Stand For Something Good in everything they do.

There are always special items to find on the Shake Shack menu. Try the Union Shack chocolate custard, fudge sauce, St John chocolate hazelnut brownie, Paul A Young chocolate chunks, and chocolate sprinkles. 5% of sales from the Union Shack supports The Wallich charity, an organisation providing accommodation and support services for the homeless in Wales. And, the exclusive Welsh Cake Jam is only available at the Cardiff Shack. Made with vanilla frozen custard, Welsh cake from Fabulous (a local Welsh cake company), this is a sweet treat that you must add to your order.

When you’re in the mood for something delicious, perhaps a break during shopping, try the ShackMeister burger, a cheeseburger made with crispy ShackMeister ale-marinated shallots and ShackSauce. Chicken comes in the form of crispy, hand breaded 100% chicken breast served with honey mustard or BBQ sauce. The crinkle cut fries are delicious, and you can get them topped with a silky cheese sauce, if you fancy.
