We chose this restaurant for our 46th anniversary meal as it is only a few hundred yards from our home and we hadn't tried it before. We booked easily on line. Unfortunately, on the day, my husband was held up on the M25, but on calling them, they assured me it was not a problem. It was very quiet on our arrival, but several tables were reserved and it filled up fairly quickly. However, it did not intrude on our enjoyment, and we were able to chat without worrying that we were overheard. The service was excellent. Very efficient, cheerful staff, who could not be faulted. The restaurant, was pleasantly decorated, and the seating very comfortable (important when you are older!!). And most important of all, the food was excellent. we did not realise we had such a good Indian restaurant so close and will definately be back! The only slightly down side was that I was not keen on the music, but that is a matter of personal taste, and it was not very intrusive. We will be booking this place again in the very near future!
