Renegade Urban Winery

You may hear the words urban and winery and think that there's no possible way that those two things go together, but you'd be wrong. Renegade Urban Winery have been making their own wines since 2016, when they were just following the crowd. But since then, the brand has gone into something really special. The team are leading the charge on new wine making approaches by using a mix of old and new techniques, and produce around 40 to 60,000 bottles annually.

If you're popping by to try the latest bottle of wine to be added to the shelves, you can enjoy a selection of small plates to enjoy alongside your glass. Choose from blackened radicchio verona with provencal salsa, shaved comte and roasted pine nuts, a deliciously soft plate of Devonshire crab with a toasted chive scone and mayonnaise, and jamon and bechamel croquettes with shaved manchego cheese. On Sundays, the kitchen serves a selection of delicious roasts, like the loin and shoulder of Tamworth pork, Hereford beef sirloin, corn fed French chicken and delicia pumpkin gratin. All roasts are served with roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding, sticky red cabbage, root veg mash and sprout tops. If you've got a sweet tooth then you'll want to finish on a high, with the rice pudding cremeux with candy kumquat, nashi pear and caramelised rice pudding.
