Some say that a slice of warm, cheesy pizza is the only love triangle they ever want to be involved in, and we’d have to agree.
If you’ve already found the one and are planning to get married this summer, you now have the chance to get Domino’s to cater your wedding (yes, really).
The takeaway pizza company, which has sites across the UK, is offering 10 lucky couples to have their wedding catered for. If pizza is your first love (and your partner a close second), all you have to do is email email@example.com and let the company know why you love its pizza so much.
10 couples will be chosen as winners and they will each receive 20 of their favourite large Domino's pizzas for free, with options including classic flavour combinations such as the Pepperoni Passion, Hawaiian and the Veggie Supreme.
Domino's decided to run the competition after they conducted some recent research which revealed that 46% of wedding guests admit to previously having being served food they didn’t like, with 22% of them saying they’d prefer to eat pizza instead. To be honest, when it comes to choosing between a dry piece of beef with lumpy potatoes, or a delicious pizza, we think we know which one we’d prefer.
Speaking about the findings, Domino’s head of product innovation Ian Straughan said: “We’re seeing a growing trend from couples ordering pizza to provide wedding guests with a fun, modern twist on their big day. With wedding season in full swing, we were surprised to learn that nearly half of guests don’t like the food they are served.”
“Why not ditch the sit down meal? Domino’s delivers fresh, quality, hot food ensuring everyone is happy. In fact, we receive lots of requests for wedding pizza especially as many couples invite more guests to join them for a bigger party after the main meal.”
If a foodie twist on your wedding day is one of your must-haves, you’ll be glad to know that you can now tie the knot at Manchester’s tallest restaurant.
