Nammos’ Berkeley Street location marks an exciting new chapter for the restaurant group that began life on the idyllic sands of Psarou Beach in Mykonos back in 2003. Known for its sun-soaked, see-and-be-seen appeal, this Mayfair opening brings the brand from the sand dunes to cosmopolitan city streets.
Set across two floors, Nammos London is designed to feel like an evolution rather than simply a new site. It carries the same emphasis on atmosphere, but trades shoreline views for a more refined, metropolitan setting. The first floor is dedicated to private dining and events, making this restaurant the hot new place to host a celebration or curated gathering. While the menu hasn’t been released yet, there is - as you’d imagine - a strong foundation in Mediterranean cooking but with a contrasting Japanese influence.
There’s an enduring focus on high-quality fish and shellfish, showcased through a dedicated raw bar, alongside dishes prepared over the Josper grill. To get a feel for what’s to come, signature plates look like aubergine mille-feuille layered with feta mousse, spicy crab tartare sharpened with yuzu and truffle, and Black Angus beef, prized for its tenderness and distinctive, almost buttery depth of flavour. As for drinks, a global wine list runs alongside a cocktail selection designed to complement the food.
The Nammos Spritz offers something light and refreshing, while the Mediterranean Martini adds a subtle Greek inflection to a familiar classic. While this is the brand’s first major urban opening (and the first in a planned series of city locations) it remains closely tied to its origins not just in taste, but in looks, too. The design concept is jaw-droppingly beautiful and features raw, natural materials like wooden seating, warm colour tones and a beachy feel - but, elevated enough for the city.
