While the name London Bridge refers to the specific crossing between the City of London and Southwark, which has had several different iterations throughout history (the bridge that stands today was opened in 1973), as an area, it encompasses a number of vibrant surrounding neighbourhoods.

Directly at the south end of London Bridge is the Shard. As the tallest building in London (and the country), it offers unrivalled views across the capital, which can be enjoyed from one of its sky-high restaurants, or by making a day of it and ascending up to the sky deck.
