Went for a spontaneous date night, it was busy but they found us a good spot. Beautiful food, some of the best Turkish food I've had in London. I went for an iskender kebab while my partner had a mixed shish – both were succulent and flavoursome. The belly dancer was a pleasant surprise and added to the atmosphere. Staff were attentive and charming. It's 5 stars, would definitely go back again.

Really enjoyed sitting outside in the Bermondset Square evening sun enjoying Lokma's grill. The Turkish house white was very acceptable and the mixed grill for four was a huge tasty plateful of meat, accompanied by rice and salad. They have to lose a star for the pretty sharp practice of adding a service charge and then handing over the card machine on the 10%, 15% or 20% tip page - naughty but we clocked it. Not sure how it was given one star by previous reviewers; it's far better than that so maybe it's just the legacy from when things were not up the the current standard.

Me and my family had a very poor experience with the staff at the Westfield Lokma branch. Myself and my family came to this establishment to dine. When we entered the premises there was no staff at the door to greet us or ask us how many people were dining.

As the entrance was unstaffed we approached the bar where we were spoken to as if they did not want us to dine at the establishment. The person that addressed us was rude, not willing to listen or to simply check table availability nor enquire available times or to check if their were any cancellations. He simply said we are booked. Their was no customer orientation nor rappor with this male staff at the bar and he was very frank and rude. This sort of behaviour is absolutely not acceptable. AVOID the Westfield Branch. It’s a 0 star from me.
