Kobe Steakhouse Mayfair brings a bold, contemporary approach to premium steak dining, specialising in certified Kobe and Wagyu beef in one of London’s most distinguished neighbourhoods. Inside, the restaurant pairs high-end steakhouse cooking with a warm, elevated dining room filled with rich textures, dramatic lighting and luxurious finishes.
One of the few UK restaurants officially registered with the Kobe Beef Association in Japan, the eatery focuses on carefully sourced beef prized for its intense marbling and melt-in-the-mouth texture. The menu balances indulgent steakhouse classics with lighter dishes and premium ingredients designed for sharing.
The a la carte menu at Kobe Steakhouse begins with smaller plates such as caviar tasters, edamame and burrata with tomato, melon and caramelised fig, before moving into richer dishes including Wagyu tataki, steak tartare and Wagyu bone marrow with chimichurri, balsamic pearls and grilled ciabatta. Steak remains the main focus, with cuts including ribeye, sirloin, fillet and tomahawk, alongside signature Kobe selections and larger sharing cuts such as chateaubriand. Elsewhere, elegant Kobe Steakhouse dishes such as whole lobster, Wagyu burgers and wild mushroom risotto offer variety, while sides include roasted sweet potato, broccoli and mac and cheese.
The interiors feel polished and atmospheric throughout. A striking bar finished with glossy green tiling curves through the space, framed by green and gold seating, while the main dining room layers burnt orange velvet banquettes, leather seating, gold-toned curtains and statement artwork to create a luxurious atmosphere suited to everything from celebrations and date nights to business dinners.
Drinks continue the premium feel, with champagne, Prosecco, sake and wines sitting alongside signature cocktails such as the Nabaraki and Kyoto, plus classics including negronis, daiquiris and espresso martinis. Mocktails, beers, ciders, spirits, soft drinks and hot drinks are also available.
