KINZ is an all-day Lebanese restaurant in Notting Hill Gate, co-founded by Jad Lahoud, Karim Lahoud and Rasha Khouri Bruzzo. The concept pairs traditional Lebanese flavours with a contemporary approach, offering a menu that spans breakfast through to dinner, showcasing the breadth of Lebanese home-style cooking.
The all-day menu begins with breakfast dishes, including egg-based plates, traditional rolls and sandwiches, and a Full Lebanese breakfast intended for sharing. Later in the day, the menu shifts towards mezze, house-made breads and lighter plates. Small dishes include staples such as baba ghanoush and tabbouleh, while larger options feature classics like Lamb Kafta, Warak Enab with Koussa and Lamb Cutlet, and Fattet Aubergine layered with pine nuts, tomato, yoghurt and crisp pita.
The restaurant occupies the former Lloyds Bank building - a 1930s property designed by Sir Edward Maufe - and seats around 130 guests, with an additional private dining room for up to 16. Guests enter through a deli stocked with house-made and own-brand Lebanese ingredients, preserves, spice blends and olive oil. Fresh and frozen pre-prepared dishes are also available to take home, including kibbehs, fatayers and morning pastries.
Inside, the triple-height dining room features a canopied bar, mezzanine seating and large-format photography of Lebanon. Interiors by FARE INC combine modern design with subtle Lebanese references, using artisan ironwork, striped textiles, rustic textures and deep, earthy tones punctuated by blue, yellow and red accents. Additional spaces include a wine room set within the original bank vault and a third-floor private dining room decorated with pomegranate tapestries and warm finishes.
The drinks list features wines from £8 a glass or £30 a bottle, with an emphasis on independent producers and Lebanese wineries, alongside classic cocktails reworked with regional flavours.
