Located in the heart of Alton, Heaven’s Kitchen Steak House was founded in 2017 by Chef Mario - whose Greek and Albanian roots are noticeable in every dish. Here, you'll taste bold flavours and enjoy warm hospitality.
When he opened the restaurant, Mario’s dream was simple – he wanted to share the hearty, sun-soaked spirit of Mediterranean cooking with those who walk through the door. You'll notice that the restaurant loves to use traditional techniques, and there's a fierce commitment to quality. Although primarily a steakhouse, Heaven’s Kitchen, it’s not just about great steaks, with plenty of options for fish eaters and veggies to choose from.
First things first, the menu begins with a selection of nibbles, including soft and fluffy garlic flatbread, sticky pork belly bites and Mediterranean olives with sundried tomatoes and herbs. The starters include homemade slow-cooked steak and mozzarella arancini balls, seared king scallops with garlic new potatoes and Mediterranean veg, and golden Normandy brie wedges with cranberry sauce.
If you want the real steak experience, you're in luck. Each steak is served with a homemade bone marrow butter, onion rings and seasoned rocket with olive oil. After you've chosen your cut, you choose your favourite sauce which could be blue cheese or chimichurri, and then your side out of the likes of bone marrow chips and truffle and parmesan fries, before the chance to add on luxury steak sides like mac and cheese and a half a rack of ribs
The dessert menu has something for everyone, with a chocolate fudge brownie served with morello cherry, vanilla ice cream and chocolate soil, a warm sticky toffee pudding with honeycomb and caramel sauce, and fruit crumble with creme anglaise.
