Fresh from the success of his recent Netflix documentary and the launch of several high-profile openings at 22 Bishopsgate (including Gordon Ramsay High, Lucky Cat, and Bread Street Kitchen), Gordon Ramsay is now turning his attention to hotel dining.
The chef, who now oversees more than 100 restaurants globally, has announced a new partnership with Lore Group, owners of Sea Containers London. As part of the collaboration, Ramsay will take over the hotel’s flagship restaurant space from Autumn 2026. Located on the banks of the River Thames, the new concept, titled Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers, will complete the hotel's trio of drinking and dining spaces, which includes the rooftop bar 12th Knot and the Lyaness Bar from master mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana.
Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers will operate as an all-day dining spot, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner with ‘the brand’s hallmark precision and confidence interpreted through a concept carefully tailored to its setting’, although there is currently no further information about the menus.
The restaurant has been designed by Jacu Strauss, the creative director of the Lore Group, with interiors drawing inspiration from the building’s riverside setting and incorporating subtle references to cruise linger designs. The restaurant will also take over the hotel's expansive terrace which overlooks the Thames as well as the London City skyline.
