branding, the kitchen tries to appeal to the widest possible audience with a menu that offers everything from lunch-friendly wraps to crispy squid, Asian pork dumplings, risottos, steaks and
burgers; there’s even a ‘pulled pork night’ on Thursdays. Cheery service and a relaxed atmosphere compensate for any moments where the cooking falls short, and the extensive wine list includes
plenty by the glass or carafe plus a substantial section devoted to the Australian d’Arenberg vineyard. Large picture windows and a suntrap courtyard make this an attractive summer spot, whilst the
eclectic bistro interior – complete with a wine wall and modern Farrow & Ball colours – is a cosier prospect come winter.
