Have you considered these nearby areas?

This curious area of London was, for over 100 years, one of the busiest docks in the world - its name even originates from its use during World War II as a storage area for agricultural exports from the Canary Islands. Development began in the 1980s to convert the area into the collection of high-rise buildings we know it for today. It is now home to some of the tallest buildings in the country, and is part of London’s central business district.

While there is a preconception that Canary Wharf is all office buildings and banks, there are plenty of reasons to visit this pocket of London outside of business hours. Architecture buffs, for instance, will delight in its collection of landmark skyscrapers. And despite being an area composed mostly of towering glass buildings, Canary Wharf still has its fair share of green spaces, too.

There are also a number of great restaurants that have cropped up in the area over the years, providing foodies with a range of quality French food spots to soothe their cravings for comfort food.
