About

Café Linea is an all-day restaurant overlooking Duke of York Square. Located just off the King’s Road and beside the Saatchi Gallery, it brings a refined but welcoming energy to one of Chelsea’s most elegant corners. Inspired by the historic arcades of Paris, Milan and Vienna, Café Linea offers a modern take on European café dining, with menus that move effortlessly from breakfast through to dinner.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Greg and Felicity Godik, the restaurant aims to reimagine classic arcade hospitality for a contemporary London audience. The space has been designed by Dion & Arles, the studio behind Chiltern Firehouse and The Standard, London. Vaulted ceilings, arched alcoves and period features are paired with a soft, modern palette to create a setting that feels both timeless and fresh.

Food is central to Café Linea’s appeal, and the focus is firmly on produce and seasonality. Mornings begin with a selection of pastries and fresh breads made in the on-site bakery, alongside savoury allumettes filled with ham, cheese and miso, and sweeter options like banoffee bostocks with banana cream. These sit alongside a fuller breakfast and brunch menu. The all-day à la carte offering includes comforting but carefully composed dishes such as ricotta dumplings with mushrooms and a sharing curried chicken pie, as well as savoury snacks and patisserie available throughout the day. Chef Partner Carolina Ferpozzi, who brings experience from top kitchens in Argentina and London, leads a menu that is thoughtful, flavour-driven and unpretentious.

Drinks are equally considered, with a compact but interesting wine list that focuses on small producers and old-world regions. Sparkling and sweet wines are chosen to pair with the bakery's patisserie selection, while signature cocktails, aperitifs and digestifs round out the offering.

Café Linea is designed to work across different moments in the day, whether you are grabbing a pastry and coffee, catching up over lunch, settling in for an early evening aperitif or enjoying a relaxed dinner. With its mix of quiet elegance, warm service and well-executed food, it is set to become a reliable and charming new addition to the Chelsea dining scene.
