Inspired by the late-60s psychedelic counter-culture, this freaky cocktail bar below the Draft House craft-ale pub by Tower Bridge serves trippy drinks guaranteed to blow your mind. The 'bump' in Bump Caves refers to its range of custom-distilled spirits, which are created using a rotary evaporator. Their signature EKAAT cocktail (Bump malt, Campari, Cocchi di Torino vermouth and sparkling Picpoul) is presented with a 9V battery and a bag of white powder (nothing dodgy we're assured, just tangy citrus acid) – good value at £10. Another off-the-wall shocker is Schiz-a-Colada (Diplomatico Anejo rum, pineapple and crème anglaise), served with an electric cigarette that creates a coconut vapour; far out, indeed. It's not all gimmicks, of course, but one thing's for sure – you've got to see Bump to believe it.
