suave brown furnishings and a baby grand that sees plenty of action throughout the week. The cocktail list is long and complex, but staff are keen to talk customers through the more obscure stuff
and are tip-top when it comes to theatrical mixology. The Blue Dog’s signature mix combines Wyborowa apple vodka, Blue Curaçao, passion fruit and citrus juices, while ‘suck it and see’
possibilities include Alchemist’s Elixir (Carounn gin, Green Chartreuse, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, egg white and apple juice). Live music is a big draw here, with everything from chanteuses
and jazz combos to solo piano sessions – also expect some tricks from Terry the Magician.
