Having finally given up the full nomadic lifestyle, multi-time National Pizza of the Year winner, Bad Boy Pizza Society, has found a permanent residence in Bethnal Green.
Designed to serve the neighborhood all day long, the premise offers delicious slices to take away during the day and transforms by night into a cosy sit down pizzeria where guests can enjoy; a winning combination if ever there was one.
Founded on camaraderie, tomato sauce, sweat, and actual tears, what began as four friends sharing a slice over a pint at university quickly snowballed into a cult movement among London’s pizza lovers, picking up high praise from diners, critics, and winning National Pizza of the Year at the National Pizza Awards in both 2022 and 2024.
Since then, the Bad Boys have made their way across the capital, popping up at spots like Seven Dials, Shepherds Bush, Vinegar Yard, and Covent Garden but it’s not until now that the group have found their forever home.
With a permanent site to call home, the Bad Boys are firing up the ovens full-time. Brand classics like the Margherita and Vodka Sauce slice, alongside favourites like Fungi Town (whipped lemon ricotta, mushrooms, fresh thyme, truffle oil) and Crusty Old Goat (goat’s cheese, caramelised onions, black pepper, balsamic glaze) all ready for slicing, folding, and devouring. Bethnal Green is getting the full Bad Boy treatment.
And yes, it’s about the pizza, but it’s also about the vibe: fun, laid-back, a bit cheeky, and totally obsessed with good food done properly.
