Alley Cats has opened a third site on Westbourne Grove, expanding its New York style pizza offering into Notting Hill. Following its locations in Marylebone and Chelsea, the new restaurant continues the brand’s focus on thin crust, 14 inch pizzas and a short menu of starters, desserts and drinks designed for casual dining.
The interior features gingham covered tables, exposed brick, low lighting and a central pizza oven. Seating includes upcycled pews and bar stools, arranged to suit both solo guests and small groups. A takeaway counter sits near the entrance, while the back of the space offers a more enclosed dining area.
The food menu follows the same structure as the earlier sites. Pizzas are served whole with toppings such as vodka sauce with buffalo and aged mozzarella, smoked pepperoni with jalapeños and hot honey, or wild mushroom with taleggio, red onion jam and fried sage. Starters include garlic and cheese bites, meatballs in tomato sauce and a chopped salad. Desserts are kept simple, with a rotating tiramisu and soft serve on offer.
The drinks list includes a mix of classic and house cocktails, as well as a selection of beer and wine. Cocktails feature options such as a coffee infused Negroni and a bergamot spritz. Alley Cats also pours its own branded lager, made in collaboration with a local brewery.
The restaurant seats around 40 guests inside, with a few pavement tables available for walk-ins. Music plays at a steady volume throughout the day and service runs without bookings. It sits between casual pizzeria and neighbourhood diner, drawing on both New York slice culture and local dining habits.
Alley Cats Westbourne Grove continues the group’s focus on fast, unfussy service and a consistent menu. It adds a pizza counter to the neighbourhood with a clear identity and a rhythm familiar to those who know its earlier locations.
