135 Bar & Lounge is an Art Deco nighttime venue on Cambridge Heath Road, where you'll find fine beers and wines, delicious cocktails, and live music or DJs playing all night long. Although you may not think of somewhere like 135 Bar & Grill as a typical restaurant, you’ll find a great dining selection to choose from, which are designed to be shared amongst the table as you’re enjoying the talented band play, or chatting with friends as the DJ spins his decks.
There's a charcuterie board with coppa di parma, salame napoli, schiacciata piccante, olives, cornichons, grissini and taralli. A dairy lover's dream, the cheese board contains slices of delicious varieties – like Baron Bigod, cave-aged Cheddar, Old Groendal, Perl Las, pickles, grapes and biscuits. Other board options include a veggie selection, and an English board filled with pulled ham hock, cheddar, piccalilli, apple and sourdough. You'll also find your typical bar snacks at 135 Bar & Lounge, with an elevated, on-brand twist, like a Spanish olive mix, and an assortment of nuts topped with pecorino and truffle.
The in-house mixologists are skilled at whipping up a cocktail or two, with a creative menu that includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Every season, you'll typically find seasonal drinks, but whatever you order, your drink will be prepared with homemade cordials, shrubs and syrups, made from the finest sustainably sourced fruits, and hand-foraged locally where possible. The Lingonberry Cosmo is made with organic aquavit, dry orange liqueur, fresh citrus and a delicious cordial made from sea buckthorn and Swedish lingonberries. There's a Woodland Old Fashioned, with an umami twist on the classic, and Smoked Pineapple Daiquiri prepared using Cachaça shaken with fresh lime, pressed pineapple, and sugar cane, infused with cherry-wood smoke.
