In The Snug, this looks like floral-covered walls, with stunning wall paper depicting wild thistles and contrasting tartan chairs, more than a wink to Scottish culture.

The Belles sits on the lower ground floor and was originally the bistro, named The Shandon Belles, but has now been transformed for private events. It is truly stunning with rich green walls, exposed brick, an illuminated bar and plenty of quirky features. Here, you can host up to 35 people for dinner. While this space would be ideal for a wedding, birthday or celebration, it's also well equipped for meetings and corporate affairs. Indeed, downstairs you'll find large TV screens which work well for presentations or slideshows.
While the building is brimming with charm, a major reason for booking your event here is, of course, the food. The team have put together group dining menus across lunch and dinner to make your experience seamless. For example, on the evening menu you might find dishes such as whipped feta salad to start, followed by wild highland venison with sauteed savoy cabbage, maple and parsnip puree, and Stornoway black pudding terrine, finished with orange and cardamom pannacotta.
