The hotel’s dedicated Private Dining Room is located on the sixth floor and accommodates up to 28 guests. Filled with natural light, the space features arched windows overlooking the Manchester skyline, neutral interiors and a calm, contemporary feel that works equally well for meetings, presentations and celebratory meals. Complimentary Wi-Fi, integrated AV facilities and a plasma screen make it particularly well suited to corporate events.
For something entirely different, The Strong Room offers a more intimate and atmospheric setting. Located behind the building’s original vault doors two levels below the hotel, this unique private dining space combines dark interiors, parquet flooring and statement lighting to create a dramatic, speakeasy-inspired atmosphere. At its centre sits a full-size snooker table that has been cleverly transformed into a dining table, while a large screen allows for presentations, private screenings and live sporting events.
Larger gatherings of more than 20 guests can also be hosted within Reign, the hotel’s restaurant, which can accommodate up to 80 diners. Housed within a Grade II-listed building overlooking St Peter’s Square and Spring Gardens, the venue benefits from an integrated sound system and a late licence until 1am.
Private dining menus are drawn from Reign’s contemporary kitchen, with guests able to choose from three-course set menus or five-course tasting experiences. Dishes showcase seasonal ingredients and modern techniques, with examples including Roscoff onion with pine nuts, Gorgonzola and port, hand-dived Scottish scallops with cucumber and sea fennel, and barbecued koji beef ribeye with spring onion and kimchi. Welcome drinks and canapes can also be arranged on request.
