Preciding in Shoreditch since 2006, The Hoxton is a buzzing and stylish hotel home to seven meeting and event spaces, a restaurant and bar, as well as a beautiful alfresco courtyard which can be hired for summer soirees. Whether you’re hosting an important client lunch or a celebratory dinner, The Hoxton's impressive suite of spaces cater for a wealth of private dining needs.
The Apartment is its hero space, comprising seven individually designed rooms which can be hired separately, or exclusively, depending on the size of your event. This space hinges around its fully-stocked Pantry, which looks and feels like a modern kitchen with a central island and red Smeg fridge. You can hire the entire Apartment for a private dinner of up to 65 seated guests.
Alternatively, its individual spaces can be booked for private dinners, large and small. For larger parties, the Living Room is a smart, modern space able to accommodate up to 28 guests. While the stylishly appointed Library, with its white painted brick walls, plush furniture and contemporary artworks, can hold up to 25. Equally, it’s possible to hire both rooms in conjunction with one another for 65 seated guests.
Smaller groups can choose from the Play Room, another smart space best suited to corporate dinners, or The Den, a less-formal option kitted out with a darts board and TV screen. Both can hold up to 12 seated guests.
What about the food? The Hoxton serves relaxed, family-style menus, whether you’re in need of light bites, a bountiful breakfast spread or a hearty American-inspired feast. Examples of dishes from its set menu include crispy squid with chilli and lime mayo, roasted Cornish cod with confit potatoes and chorizo fondue, and half-baked cookie with vanilla ice cream to finish.
The Hoxton boasts an enviable location in the heart of east London; it’s a short three-minute walk from Old Street station, 10 minutes from Liverpool Street, or 15 minutes from King’s Cross.
