The Camberwell Arms is a neighbourhood pub and restaurant set inside a 19th-century pub in South East London. The private dining space is a simply-decorated, open space that features a wooden fireplace, high ceilings, rustic furnishings and white walls that flood the room with natural light. It also boasts its own private and fully staffed bar, a music system to plug in your favourite playlist, as well as complimentary tablescaping with each booking which includes placecards, personalised menus and dried flower centrepieces. The room accommodates groups of up to 55 people seated, if you’re looking to celebrate with a sit-down feast, or 63 standing if it’s a drinks reception you’re after.
There are a variety of feasting menus available and all food and drink can be pre-ordered in advance to keep things stress-free. The head chef has created menus that celebrate the best of the season’s produce with examples of dishes being burrata, fennel, orange and burnt chilli oil, slow-roasted Osso Bucco with pickled walnut green sauce and chocolate and clementine frangipane gallette with crème fraiche. Its feasting menus are designed to be shared at the table in true family-style.
