Private dining at Rushton Hall feels like stepping onto the set of Bridgerton - even if just for the length of your meal. A premier hospitality concept based in Northamptonshire, today Rushton Hall makes up a plush hotel, venue and up-market restaurant, but its fascinating history goes all the way back to the late 1500s as an important family home. So, if you or your guests are history fans, you'll love strolling the storied halls of this special building which still bears many marks of its past.
There are two restaurants at Rushton Hall; the 1593 Brasserie for slightly more casual suppers, or the award-winning Tresham Restaurant, which serves a seven-course tasting menu and calls for an elegant dress code. If planning a celebratory meal, either restaurant would work wonderfully, offering tables for up to six people. However, if you're planning a larger soiree of seven or more diners, the team ask that you consider their private dining options.
Luckily for you, Rushton Hall has more private dining options than you can shake a tiara at. Whether you're imagining a simple birthday dinner to bring together your most loved ones, a cocktail party with roving canapes, or even an out-and-out bash with food, drinks and dancing all night long, between its nine private dining room options, Rushton Hall will have something you'll love.
For example, intimate banquets of up to 16 people are suited to The Music Room, which offers period details like an ornate fireplace and ceiling cornicing, with walls hued in a rich, dramatic coral complemented by a sparkling chandelier overhead. While, The Meet Room shows off pale blue paintwork alongside a huge, orangery-style door frame which floods the space with light, with capacity for 16 people seated.
If the idea of a cocktail reception has turned your head, check out The Cellar Bar; an atmospheric, subterranean wine cellar with vaulted ceilings and gorgeous brickwork. It has space for 90 people standing and there are lounge areas with sofas, too, so nobody need have tired feet.
Or, for those planning larger dinners, The Library is an impressive choice (and, really plays on that Bridgerton feel) with polished wooden pillars, walls lined with dusty tomes and even silver candlabras poised at the ready for a twinkling feast. Here, there's space for 60 for dinner, but other configurations can be organised.
With two brilliant restaurants on site, you can also be assured that catering is provided in house, meaning a sleek, seamless planning process and top-notch menus, cooked freshly just moments away.
