Riviera is a French restaurant overlooking St James’s Street, serving Mediterranean-influenced dishes in an elegant Côte d'Azur inspired dining room and terrace setting. In addition to its main restaurant offering, Riviera provides several options for private dining in Mayfair, suited to everything from intimate dinners with friends and family to larger corporate events and office-wide celebrations.
The principal dining room seats up to 90 guests for large private dining events. Floor-to-ceiling windows curve around the space, framing views across central London, while pale wooden floors, white tablecloths and patterned upholstered seating create a refined backdrop for seated dinners or reception style events. A marble topped wraparound bar and green glass chandelier style lighting create drama, while terracotta and rattan touches soften the decor.
Amelia’s Lounge offers a separate private space accommodating up to 40 seated guests. Designed with soft cream tones, rattan detailing and sculptural lighting, it works well for smaller celebrations, business dinners or client entertaining. The covered and heated terrace seats up to 50 guests and is available throughout the year. One of the larger terraces in Mayfair, it can be arranged for lunches, evening dining or drinks receptions, with a mix of dining tables and relaxed seating.
Private dining menus can be selected from two dedicated set menus, which include starters such as beef carpaccio, burrata or fillet steak tartar, mains including beef fillet with cafe de Paris butter and Riviera sea bass, alongside desserts including tarte tatin and creme brulee.
A canape menu is also available, featuring light bites such as sea bass carpaccio with truffle and ponzu, foie gras with truffle and Parmesan and chargrilled chicken with tahini. The wine list highlights French offerings, complemented by a dedicated cocktail menu that includes non-alcoholic options.
