Mare Street Market in Hackney is the original site, and where you'll find a creative mix of bars, restaurants, stores and spaces, all of which can be taken over for your next celebration. Located just off Broadway Market, it sits in the heart of Hackney's most exciting area with plenty of nightlife, galleries and stores nearby which keep the neighbourhood buzzing. With Hackney Central only a five minute walk away, it's also perfectly placed for friends, family, colleagues and guests to meet you there.
For small to medium-sized gatherings, the Chandelier room is an enchanting space distinguishable by its glittering ceiling, heavy with sparkling light installations which near swing from the rafters. Here, you can seat up to 60 people for lunch or dinner, in a beautifully atmospheric space which works for parties, events or brand activations.
Larger gatherings are at home across some of the dining areas which can host up to just under 200 people for a bigger party. And if you really want to go for it, a total takeover can host up to 500 people. You can also take advantage of some of the independent businesses which are part of Mare Street Market, calling on the in-house florist to help create floral decorations for your special event, or the vinyl store for music advice and DJ bookings.
Catering is taken care of by the internal team who will work with you to find (or even create) the perfect menu. From multi-course seasonal set menus that can be designed around however many courses you want, to canapes or sharing plates enjoyed family-style. There's even the option to create a completely bespoke menu, working one-on-one with the chefs to build the perfect meal. Of course, any dietary requirements you or your guests might have can be catered for.
