Galvin Bistro & Bar is located just on the edge of Spitalfields Market, making it extremely easy to get to from Shoreditch or The City. The restaurant is very experienced when it comes to hosting private and corporate events as a result, and the team can host anything from casual drinks receptions with canapes to full sit-down meals and celebration dinners.
The restaurant has a variety of areas available for hire. We love the gorgeous Conservatory at the rear of the Bistro & Bar, where glass windows and roof ensure the space is bathed in natural light throughout the day. A set of double doors open out into a private garden - a unique outdoor space, which is a rarity in the City! In the winter months, part of the garden can be covered and heated, allowing you and your guests an al fresco area to break out into despite the weather. The Conservatory can be arranged in a variety of ways and accommodates up to 20 guests seated or 30 guests standing. It can also be combined with the garden for larger groups.
Alternatively, the restaurant is available for exclusive private hire, accommodating up to 60 guests seated and 150 guests standing across all areas.
Galvin Bistro & Bar offers a variety of set menus for large groups, including dishes such as roast Cornish cod with salsify and aioli, Dorset crab with toasted sourdough and pea shoots, and rhubarb crumble with custard.
