Incorporating the perfect combination of rustic nautical elements and classic Chelsea chic, Azzurra is the seafood experience bringing a dose of the coast to central London. Nestled into one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, this Sloane Street staple has glamour in spades, with contemporary decor, low-lit lighting, as well as some friendly seaside reminders such as a seafood bar with luxury ingredients like king crabs, lobsters and a bed of oysters.
The menu celebrates Italian cuisine and the beauty in its simplicity, whilst still showcasing the best of British produce. Suppliers are sourced from across the UK to ensure the freshest seafood straight from boat to table, which are used to create dishes inspired by everywhere from Amalfi to Sardinia. Each course is steeped in luxury, from indulgent seafood platters to native lobster taglioni and grilled dover sole, plus thin crust pizza topped with your favourite crustaceans.
Beyond the buzz of the main restaurant is a private dining room capable of hosting up to 16 guests, suited to everything from family lunches to product launches. Tastefully decorated, the sauce swaps blue hues for neutrals with a large wooden table taking centre stage. Available for brunch through to dinner, there are a selection of set menus to choose from should you be visiting in groups of nine or more, as well as a variety of fine wines to see you through your meal. For a larger, private event, you can even hire out the entire restaurant for up to 100 guests.
The carefully curated wine list focuses largely on wines from Italy, with inclusions from the rest of Europe and ‘new world’ wines too. Expect plenty of prosecco, whites such as Gavi di Gavi, and reds including Chianti and Primitivo, as well as global favourites like Champagne, Spanish Riojas, and Provencal rosé.
