On most evenings, 28-50 transforms from casual cocktail bar to jazz club, hosting some of the best artists in London and pumping out live music until the early morning.
With multiple private dining areas available to hire, 28-50 by Night makes a very glamorous location for chic birthday parties and late-night corporate dinners alike. The VIP Square sits just adjacent to the bar and stage area, and has room for 6-8 people to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy some live jazz with a meal. The Stage area is rather larger, with room for 40 people seated (and another 17 if you decide to hire the private bar as well). This is ideal for larger drinks parties and networking events.
If you’d like something a little quieter, climb the stairs to the upper circle - a beautiful, moody private dining area for 30, with optional lounge-style seating for another 12. This versatile space can also be used for standing events like receptions and drinks, and as it’s a little further from the action on the ground floor it’s perfect for gatherings where you want to have a good chat.
As for food and drink, this is where 28-50 by Night truly excels. 28-50 has an incredible reputation for wine, with a huge range of wines available by the glass, carafe and bottle, as well as a ‘Collectors List’ that features fine wines rarely seen in restaurants. There’s something for everyone on the menu too, which takes a pan-European approach with dishes like duck and pistachio rillette with celeriac remoulade, wild mushroom risotto with chestnuts, and chocolate mousse with clementine and chocolate crumb.
