This Grade-II listed building offers a gorgeously picturesque spot in the Oxfordshire countryside, with space for a whole host of events. Whether you’re looking for a countryside team building getaway, or a glamorous backdrop for a dinner and drinks reception, Venue Henley has spaces for every occasion.

If you’re looking to host a meeting or conference in Henley-on-Thames, then Venue Henley comes with 51 different meeting spaces, with capacities ranging from two to 1,115 guests and offering state-of-the-art AV facilities. Regardless of your event, there’s bound to be somewhere to meet your needs.

These versatile spaces can be set up to your specification, with 11 conference rooms, including the National Grid room which boasts tiered seating perfect for delivering presentations. Elsewhere, you'll find 40 smaller meeting spaces, which offer space for two to eight delegates in fixed boardroom-style rooms. The Magnolia room also allows for video conferencing, fully equipped for streamless communication.

When booking your meeting or conference, you’ll have the option to choose between day delegate packages and 24 hour packages, including a three-course buffet, unlimited coffees, refreshment breaks, onsite parking and wifi access throughout the building. For the 24 hour package, add on a three-course dinner, overnight stay and full English in the morning for the ultimate getaway.

At Venue Henley, you can also organise a number of team building workshops. The site works alongside Team Activity Group to organise indoor and outdoor activities, as well as ice breakers and creative workshops, designed to strengthen your team and bring the group together.

The Heyworth Suite, pictured bottom right, seats a maximum of 120 guests at a time. The room can be used for a fine dining event with the Garden Common Room used as an extension of that room for a party where you require the full seating, with space for dancing into the evening hours. If you would rather stay in the Heyworth room after dining, a few of the tables can be removed for you to have a dance floor and DJ within the space.

This room can be used separately or in addition to the Heyworth if required. Previous events have held their main event in Heyworth, with the Garden Common Room used for entertainment i.e. casino tables, photo booth etc.

We have a range of flexible spaces ideal for meetings, conferences, and training. Our 11 conference rooms are fully equipped with AV & presenting technology, including laptop connections, networked PC’s and large screens. These can all be arranged in a number of different layouts and configurations, depending on your requirements and the number of delegates Our 40 meeting & syndicate rooms seat from 2 to 8 delegates in a fixed boardroom, each with its own large screen, whiteboards, flipchart and laptop connections. Our video conferencing room, Magnolia, is equipped with technology to ensure a smooth and easy communication across any distance. Accommodating 18 delegates seated around a large boardroom table. Accompanied with support from our skilled on-site technical team.

Mother's Day CarveryMARCH, 2026

Just wanted to say how much we all enjoyed the Mother's Day carvery at Greenlands. The food was absolutely amazing and all the staff, both on reception and in the restaurant were just so welcoming, kind and helpful. The menu and choice of food was just wonderful and it was replenished rapidly. I liked seeing the chef carve the beef on demand. I love having your name on the table, its a simple, but a lovely and personal touch. Having a vegan in our party, we were particularly pleased to see the homemade vegetable gravy - indeed there were 3 different types of gravy, and plenty of it - and she loved all the salads and veg on offer. I did have to explain to another of our party what "UoR beef" meant, which caused great amusement! Something else much appreciated was the umbrella stand by the exit door! it was raining heavily when we left so it was lovely to be able to borrow an umbrella to enable us to get back to the car park without getting soaked. So really can't fault it, we all loveit and had a wonderful time and will of course definitely be back again!

It is really difficult to put into words just how grateful we are to Greenlands and the team there for hosting our wedding celebrations. From start to finish, their patience, attention to detail and sincerity in making our day as special and stree-free as possible was second to none. We had the best days of our lives that day, and it's thanks to the team, in particular Sophie and Angela who went above and beyond. We felt as though we had the place all to ourselves and everything we asked for was accounted for. If you are considering Greenlands as a venue, all I can say is I would recommend it wholeheartedly. You won't find better value for money anywhere.

We would highly recommend Greenlands as a wedding venue. The riverside setting is spectacular, the food is delicious and the staff are all very friendly and dedicated to their jobs. We found it really helpful having Sophie as a wedding coordinator, as it took lots of the pressure off us, and allowed us to enjoy the fun parts of the day. Our guests had a lovely time and particularly commented on the beautiful setting and the high quality of the service. Having the hotel on site was really useful.
