Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for such a brilliant evening on board The Georgian. Everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed the experience and if I could change one thing it would have been to have done it earlier in the year to make the most of the stunning views before twilight but that’s a great excuse to do it again. The service was exemplary, the food was hot and tasty and the atmosphere truly brilliant.

My husband and I booked to hold a special anniversary celebration on board the gorgeous boat, The Georgian. After months of planning we decided on hosting a sit down meal with a dj afterwards. Pre dinner drinks to be served on deck prior to this. From the moment we first started communicating with Gareth about our event right up to the final disembarkation, he couldn’t have been more helpful, adapting set menus and drinks packages to suit us, allowing me to use my own decor for the tables, and sharing our enthusiasm for this special family event. This added so much to our experience. The staff on Saturday were fabulous. They were unflappable and professional. The team were really good at putting everyone at ease and because of this my husband and I were able to enjoy ourselves from the off. Luckily the rain stopped for our guests to board in the dry and enjoy the Pimms and beers on deck before going below for their meal. The views along the Thames from Maidenhead to Windsor are glorious, and I think all 50 guests were planning to move into the amazing houses along the riverbank if their lottery numbers came up on Saturday! Below deck, there was much excitement as we sat down for dinner, and the food was complimented so many times by our guests that Gareth, who prepares all the food from scratch on board, must have had flaming hot ears! It is beautifully presented, everything is delicious….and the cake…just wow! After tucking in to our gourmet meal, we proceeded to dance and drink the night away. What fun! Thank you so much Gareth and the team, you made our wedding anniversary the event of the year! We had the best time. Hope to see you for another celebration in the future.

Anniversary Cruise

We visited a family of 40 for afternoon tea, ages 2 to 95 and had a wonderful afternoon tea. We didn't run out of food, sandwiches, scones and cakes were lovely. Lovely views of the Thames up to Windsor Castle. We had a bar on board. I would recommend.

A wonderful day out on the Thames. From the outset of making my enquiry to actually boarding 40 magistrate colleagues and friends, the staff were so helpful and obliging. The commentary on board as we cruised at a leisurely pace was excellent and our “fish and chips” lunch, with grilled halloumi and onion pasties as alternatives were thoroughly enjoyed by all. So many of my colleagues commented that we should do this every year! Very relaxing Sunday afternoon on the river.

Super Relaxed Wedding Party on this lovely boat. There were about 40 of us for a meal and boat trip following our wedding in Windsor. The owner Gareth showed us round a few weeks before and explained all the food and drink options. We also engaged his suggested Jazz Band who were brilliant and friendly. We went for a BBQ meal with various options, which was great.. The boat is well suited to UK weather having a large saloon under cover if it rains and an open deck on top where we were most of the time. In fact the weather was super hot all afternoon. All the guests commented afterwards on what a great day we had. Compared to other wedding venues the cost was very reasonable and the whole day was delightful and memorable. Christine's wedding cake was delicious. Being on a boat for a wedding was different and very enjoyable. Well done to Gareth, his father and crew.
