A beautiful venue with much history, The Wilderness Centre is somewhere you should consider if you’re looking to hire a venue in Gloucestershire. The site of The Wilderness Centre has been referred to as 'the wilderness' for over a thousand years, dating back to the Saxon times. The house that stands in that spot today is one of Georgian architecture, and was a family home back in the early 19th century. It's since been home to a children's hospital and was also a property belonging to Gloucestershire County Council. Back in 2015, Dan and Sophie Sturdy bought the house with a vision in mind.
The corporate programme at The Wilderness Centre takes on a regenerative approach. The ideologies here draw on nature to help organisations learn and grow using vitality, health and how prosperity can be created and sustained. The Wilderness Centre will allow you and your team to use nature as your leader. When looking out amongst the beautiful Malvern countryside and over to the Cotswold hills, you'll be invited to use your experience in order to free up your thinking, and break out of mechanistic mindsets.
Outside of this programme, you'll also be able to book other courses or retreats at The Wilderness Centre. With large rooms that are perfect for workshops, gatherings of all sizes and sorts, and workshops, The Wilderness Centre is perfect for your next corporate event. You can make use of the professional kitchen for catering, and accommodation is available through the house's ten bedrooms. These rooms can sleep a total of 54 guests with their bunk beds, and the bell tent village is a more secluded option that sits beneath the stars.
