Found in the South Downs National Park, The Spread Eagle dates back to 1430. Original features include inglenook fireplaces, Flemish stained-glass windows and attractive oak beams. The largest function room is the Jacobean Hall, which has heraldic banners and a minstrels’ gallery. The more intimate King Edward VII Suite is ideal for informal meetings. For some R&R, the Scandinavian-style spa and indoor pool beckons.
