Want to feel like a kid again?
Were you one of those kids who couldn’t help but resist climbing a tree whenever you came across one? Sadly, as you got older, you probably did less and less of it. And as an adult, climbing a tree disappeared from your life right in-between cycling with no hands and not eating the crust on your sandwich.

The good news is that tree-climbing can be reintroduced to your life, and you have Tylney Hall Hotel in Hampshire to thank for it. Its new tree-climbing teambuilding package will allow you to reach the top of the resort’s 130-year-old cedar tree.

The Deodar cedar is one of the estate’s tallest trees and will give climbers a great view of the rest of the parkland. The activity is done in partnership with The Great Big Tree Climbing Company, who will ensure you reach the canopy safely. Ropes and harnesses are involved, so you won’t entirely freestyle it like a kid – but it’s close enough.

So other than the fact it will be great fun, why should you and your group spend a whole afternoon pretending you’re Tarzan? Tree-climbing not only provides an adrenaline rush, builds confidence and help people discover their strengths and weaknesses. It also builds unity between participants, fosters teamwork and helps boost morale.
