Set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside on Tatton Estate, Stock Farm Wedding and Events Barn is an exclusive-use barn venue, surrounded by woodlands, fields and meadows. In fact, with two different flexible barns available for hire, as well as breakout courtyard and gardens, this adaptable venue is ideal for all sorts of venues, from birthday celebrations to engagements, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, baby showers and big corporate getaways.
The largest of the barns is the Main Barn, which has room for up to 280 guests. The interiors are highly customisable, and Stock Farm boasts an experienced events team, who are on hand to help you set up the space to suit your event. With a black, corrugated ceiling and rustic wooden walls, the Main Barn can lean into a cooler, industrial aesthetic or amp up the countryside feel, and you have easy access to the beautiful courtyard and gardens just outside. For a more intimate gathering, the Stables Barn can seat up to 30 people, with a charming exposed brick and wooden beams countryside style. Smaller events can also head to the equally rustic Swallows Barn, or hire it in conjunction with the Stables Barn.
Summertime events, however, might need no indoor space at all. If you’re hoping for sunny weather, hold your event in the central courtyard or the old farmhouse’s pretty garden. These areas are great for a drinks reception or outdoor catering, while a tipi or marquee could also be put up on one of the surrounding fields or meadows.
And, if you’re planning on staying the weekend, grounds feature two charming 18th-century red-brick farmhouses with a total of eleven bedrooms, accommodating up to 26 guests. That way, the fun doesn’t have to end! In terms of food, Stock Farm has a list of preferred suppliers which offer a wide variety of catering options - think everything from hog roasts and barbecues, to fine dining, and farm-to-table specialists.
