If you're struggling to find just the right venue for your special event in Putney, you need to check out Roxie. This neighbourhood restaurant is intimate in the best way, perfect for bringing together a group of friends, family or colleagues, with plenty of atmosphere. Large windows flood the space with natural light while industrial touches and exposed brick walls add an earthiness which looks oh-so-effortlessly cool. And, shout out to the lightbulb installation swinging overhead, which certainly makes a statement.
The tight-knit team here love hosting private dining parties, so simply get in touch to discuss your wants and needs, including capacity and a bespoke menu. Roxie is all about steak, with plenty of options across small plates, sharing boards, burgers and indulgent desserts. With such a well curated menu, even vegetarians are well catered for.
Rich and Sue started Roxie when they failed to see great quality meats at decent prices on the market, and every day 21-day aged steaks are handcut in their central London kitchen and delivered fresh to their three restaurants. But, they're passionate about drinks too, so to start off why not plan a welcome drink for your guests. The team have a selection of craft gins and hand-picked wines, but we love the sound of their cocktails. The Roxie Spritz with gin, elderflower, cucumber, lime juice and prosecco is a crowd pleaser.
Onto the food and a selection of starters are perfect for sharing; try out the sticky Asian ribs, crisp halloumi and salt and pepper calamari. Across the steak selection, usual cuts include ribeye, rump, fillet sirloin and picanha, all of which are served with homemade sauces and a breadth of sides including purple slaw, creamy mash and truffle mac and cheese. As for the burgers, The Argentinian sounds amazing with tender strips of steak, caramelised onions and chimichurri, but as mentioned there's also a meat-free patty option and grilled chicken breast filling, too.
