About Rhodes House

Rhodes House is a historic Grade II listed venue in the heart of Oxford, offering an exceptional setting for corporate and social venue hire. Reimagined for the 21st century, the building blends handcrafted period detailing with modern technology, creating a seamless experience for conferences, celebrations and corporate events alike. Whether you are planning an anniversary party, wedding reception, summer event or business gathering, Rhodes House provides a versatile backdrop for every occasion.

A range of elegant rooms are available for exclusive or semi-private hire. McCall MacBain Hall is an impressive ground-floor space with high ceilings and arched windows that flood the room with natural daylight. It can host 50 guests for a meeting, 200 for a standing reception or 150 for a banquet, making it ideal for gala dinners, awards ceremonies or large celebrations. The Conference Suite is the venue’s most flexible option, accommodating 132 for a meeting or 280 standing. It can be divided into two or three spaces, making it perfect for multi-room events, conferences or breakout sessions.

Smaller gatherings will appreciate the Beit Room, a refined space for 32 meeting style or 60 standing. Its intimate feel suits private lunches, small ceremonies or business meetings. The Reception Room hosts up to 50 guests and features book-lined walls, beamed ceilings and a grand piano that adds a touch of elegance to presentations or drinks receptions.

For something more contemporary, the Glass Pavilion seats 28 or holds 50 standing. Its glass walls and soaring wooden ceilings offer tranquil views across the gardens. Outside, the Gogel Gardens provide a peaceful setting for outdoor parties, wedding receptions or summer networking events.

With Wi-Fi, video conferencing, expert event support and stunning historic architecture, Rhodes House is one of Oxford’s most impressive venues for a whole range of different events.
