Built as a country retreat in 1840, Norton House feels much further away than a 20-minute drive from the centre of Edinburgh. Unlike hotels in the busy city, this four-star property can afford to spread out, occupying 55 acres with space for one of the area’s top spas. For large events, the Ballroom holds up to 300 for a conference and the adjacent Oak Room can be used as a breakout space or for drinks receptions.
