About North Cadbury Court

We don't have to convince you to book your event with North Cadbury Court in Somerset; one look at this Grade I Listed manor house and it's impossible not to fall in love. Its sweeping facade tells the story of its incredible 800 year history, boasting stunning stained glass windows, lattice-topped windows, beautiful stonework and idyllic grounds.

Whether you're planning a corporate weekend away, a milestone birthday or perhaps brand event, North Cadbury Court has plenty of space to entertain, look after and house your guests. At the heart of the building is a majestic ballroom with wooden flooring and huge windows which dramatically leak natural light into the room. A glittering chandelier and proud piano give even more character to the space. Here, you can host up to 250 people standing, and 150 people seated, so it really is the place to host an all-out party.

One of the best things about North Cadbury Court is its on-site accomodation, transforming a simple event into an all-weekend extravaganza. The Main House boasts 21 uniquely-designed bedrooms, of which 19 have their own bathroom, so it's ideal for press events or office away days. Bedrooms are beyond sumptuous with four-poster beds and antique furniture - it's like stepping into the pages of a fairytale.

As the entire house is yours, the team can create an experience that's entirely bespoke, just for you. To make things simple, though, there are packages available for those who want them. The corporate package, for example, includes two nights stay, continental breakfast every morning, daily lunches and two-course evening meals, all organised via the team's preferred supplier. You'll get a dedicated planner, front of house staff, and anything you might need for meetings - projector, flip boards, tea and coffee, wifi, parking etc.

There's also plenty to do here, from the indoor pool and jaccuzi, to a basement casino and disco cellar, and options to include watersports on the lake. There'll never be a dull moment.

FAQs

How much dining furniture is in the house?

The house is equipped with eight trestle tables to make a dining room table with 50 dining chairs. The Morning Room has seating for 20 people and there are metal outdoor chairs and tables for 40.

Do you have a late license?

Unless otherwise agreed, events should start closing down with all music, dancing and entertainment on the ground and upper floors and outside finishing at midnight. There is no time limit in our basement disco – here you can keep the party going until the early hours!

Do you have on site caterers or can we bring our own?

We have a corporate package that includes full catering provided by our preferred supplier, Pickers Catering. However, if these package options don’t quite fit with the vision you have for your event or stay, our in house event managers will work with you to arrange everything you need. We can recommend and help arrange everything from catering and décor suppliers, to house staff, croupiers, DJs, clay shooting, archery, falconry, or team building instructors. Whether you’re looking for a casual BBQ, late-night snacks or a food truck, you’re welcome to bring in suppliers of your choice.

Do you charge corkage?

Uniquely for an event venue, we do not charge corkage. We have extensive kitchens with large catering fridges to store white wine. We also have glasses which can be used for casual dining, but if you would like more formal glassware please ask for our suppliers list.
