Mowgli Manchester is part of the hugely popular Mowgli group of Indian street food restaurants, founded by restaurateur and Great British Menu star Nisha Katona. The restaurant is known for its vibrant dishes and welcoming atmosphere, making it a brilliant option for fun, foodie and relaxed events. This beautiful location in central Manchester offers a range of flexible private hire options for both social and corporate events, from intimate dinners to large-scale celebrations.
On the first floor, Mowgli boasts two dedicated semi-private spaces for small to medium-sized groups. Room 1 is a balcony-style space overlooking the main restaurant below, and seats up to 32 guests or 40 standing. Complete with plenty of natural light, hanging lanterns, and its own dedicated bar, Room 1 offers the exclusivity of a private space combined with the buzz of the main restaurant, making it a great choice for birthdays, team nights out or sociable lunches.
Room 2 is a little larger, with space for up to 46 seated guests or 50 standing, and enjoys views of Manchester Cathedral. With its relaxed bench seating and bar stools, this room is well suited to more informal dining and mid-sized events.
For larger-than-life occasions, Mowgli Manchester is also available for exclusive hire. This includes use of the ground floor and both semi-private dining areas upstairs, with space for up to 150 seated guests, or 180 standing.
When it comes to food, Mowgli offers a choice of three private dining menus: the Sharing Menu, Feasting Menu and The Grand Table Menu, each available at a range of price points to suit different budgets.
All menus showcase Mowgli’s signature street food style, with favourites including yoghurt chat bombs, fenugreek-kissed fries and gunpowder chicken, alongside curries, small plates, sides and sweets. Drinks packages are also available, and for something more personalised, bespoke catering can be arranged – from custom menus to signature cocktails.
