You can find Mowgli in Birmingham’s Grand Central shopping centre - easily accessible for guests travelling by train, tram or bus, as well as those wishing to use the Grand Central car park. Available for exclusive hire, the restaurant accommodates 150 standing and 120 seated, and is fully accessible. The venue is full of character, with exposed brick walls and long wooden tables contrasted by industrial furnishings. Mowgli’s signature features - ropework and fairy lights - are featured throughout, while a well-stocked bar sits towards the back of the restaurant. Guests can mingle in the bar area with an Indian-inspired cocktail - try the Sweet Deli Heights, which is made with raspberries, gin, ginger and lemon, or the Chai Rum Sling, with white rum and apricot syrup.
The food offering features three stand-out set menus, as well as the option for bespoke catering. The Sharing Menu and The Grand Table menu are designed to be shared between two - a great way to encourage conversation and create a relaxed atmosphere. Meanwhile the Feasting Menu is served individually and suited to more formal, sit-down occasions.
Offering varying degrees of quantity and variety, the set menus come with Mowgli’s signature Yogurt Chat Bombs to start, followed by a range of snacks - like Fenugreek Kissed Fries, Gunpowder Chicken and Himalayan Cheese Toast - curry tiffin boxes, roti and rice. There’s also dessert, which features flavoured ice cream cones and Mowgli’s Chocolate Brownie.
