About Highclere Castle

Highclere Castle is a Grade I-listed building, set in 3,000 acres & built at the very pinnacle of extravagance during the Victorian era. It is available on an exclusive basis &, in utilising many of the State Rooms for functions, it is always able to create the right atmosphere for each occasion. The Library, for example, is a relaxing place for board meetings & presentations as well as receptions & can be converted into a magnificent dining room seating up to 140 guests. A wide range of syndicate rooms is also available. The Castle has a full team of chefs, headed by Peter Ingram (ex-Mosiman’s), whose menus are accompanied by wines from the extensive cellar.
