Created by chef Rishim Sachdeva and the team behind Tendril, Cafe Petiole takes inspiration from the artist cafes of Europe, combining thoughtful food with an interior that feels both creative and inviting. Butter-yellow walls, rose-pink chairs and handmade peony paper pendants create a warm, nostalgic atmosphere, while large arched windows flood the space with natural daylight. Wooden flooring, pastel blue detailing, large mirrors and carefully curated artwork add to the cafe’s distinctive personality. The layout can be adapted to suit different occasions, whether that’s a banquet-style dinner, smaller tables for networking events or a more informal standing reception.
Food centres around seasonal, plant-first cooking that happens to be predominantly vegan. Event menus can feature vibrant salads such as sweet potato with soy glaze, yoghurt and feta, beetroot with pomegranate, chickpeas with lime dressing and marinated artichokes. Guests can also enjoy soups of the day, mixed olives, quiches and sandwiches, including roasted aubergine with tahini. Sweet options include lemon and poppy seed cake, burnt Basque cheesecake and Tendril tiramisu.
