Bluebird has been a staple of Chelsea for 20 years, serving up delicious British cuisine all year round. Whether it’s an Aperol spritz on the terrace in summer or fish and chips in winter, Bluebird has something to offer everyone. Set in a grade-II listed building, the restaurant also boasts a bar, café, courtyard, food store, four private dining rooms and even its own bakery. On top of this, it can also be booked out for events and parties, offering a ‘little blue book’ of the best suppliers and contacts to make sure your event has everything you want.
The buzzy restaurant itself can be booked out for a seated event with 50 guests, while the bar has a capacity of up to 60 standing. This area is the perfect setting for a celebration dinner and drinks reception, with champagne, cocktails and bar snacks to kick things off. Alternatively, the whole space can be hired out exclusively. This allows up to 200 guests for a dinner with dancefloor, 230 without or up to 500 standing guests.
A mere glance at the menu will confirm that food is a priority at Bluebird. Those ordering a la carte can enjoy crudités with ranch dressing, Brindisa ham with melon or oscietra caviar with blinis, crème fraiche and chives. Once these nibbles have disappeared, starters on offer include burrata with nectarine, gazpacho, beef tartare or crispy duck salad. Mains will delight your guests, with entries like lobster spaghetti, Kerala monkfish curry or aged British grass-fed sirloin with onion purée, bone marrow sauce and triple cooked chips.
Cocktails at Bluebird include the likes of lychee and rose martinis, watermelon martinis or rose royales made with Belsazar rose vermouth, grapefruit bitters and elderflower tonic. To start planning your event or party at Bluebird, simply fill in the form on the right and the team will be in touch.
