London's best anniversary party venues for hire

One of the most impressive Clerkenwell venues available for anniversary party hire, behind the striking facade of Knotel Old Sessions House, you’ll find 23 rooms, each with its own personality. The Dining Room can host dinners for 36, The Chairman’s 18, and there’s The Great Room, which can host standing receptions of up to 160.

The Orangery at Holland Park sits within the perfect, manicured grounds of Holland Park itself. A palace of glass and stone, natural light fills the space during the day, and the venue is a blank canvas, so you can set it up however you wish. Outside, The Orangery’s rose garden and outdoor fountains are perfect for photos.

Nowhere in London is quite as legendary as this Soho members’ club, making it the obvious choice for a major celebration. Choose from several stylish spaces, each with its own bold, creative flair, and host anything from a sit-down dinner for 20 or a lavish drinks reception for 150. It's known for drawing a creative crowd, and you'll have help every step of the way.

This ethical members’ club is serious about its sustainability credentials, whether it’s the produce used in the Rooftop Restaurant, or the materials used for huge swathes of the building itself. The whole townhouse has been beautifully styled, but we especially love the al fresco terrace on the roof, which is equipped with heating and cosy blankets for the colder months of the year.

Whether it’s your 1st, 10th, or 50th anniversary, The Rubens at the Palace offers an elegant backdrop for any milestone, just yards from Buckingham Palace. Celebrate with a private dinner in the Rembrandt Suite or cocktails in the glamorous Leopard Room, with larger banqueting suites available for those looking to cater for all their family and friends.

If you’re looking for a cosy, intimate feel with an air of romance, 542 Brixton is just the ticket. Celebrating an anniversary should come with all the bells and whistles. At Durrants Hotel, that’s exactly what you’re in for. This Marylebone hotel comes with a luxurious feel, offering a range of spaces including the elegant Spy Room where you can celebrate your years together and look towards plenty more to come.

Another star hotel with various flexible spaces, art’otel London at Battersea Power Station has a trump card that most other venues can’t match - unobstructed, close-up views of Battersea Power Station. Our favourite spot is JOIA Bar, which boasts two-storey panoramic windows, a distinctive cocktail menu and aesthetically pleasing art deco styling.

Canopy by Hilton runs a number of smart event spaces out of this slick east London hotel, but the real showstopper is the Florattica Rooftop Bar on the 11th floor. With panoramic views across the City’s many iconic landmarks and a stunning floral installation across the ceiling, this is a surefire venue to impress for a big anniversary celebration.

Once a furniture factory, 100 Barrington has been tastefully renovated into a sprawling events venue, taking up residence under Brixton’s brick railway arches. Minimal design contributes to the industrial-chic charms of this historic site, and with lots of indoor and outdoor space, it’s perfect for blank-canvas celebration events.
