Tucked away in the heart of Canary Wharf, against the banks of South Dock Canal, Roe offers a unique, food-focused spot where you can host this year’s Christmas party. The latest site from the trio behind Fallow and FOWL, Roe embodies the same commitment to sustainability and minimal waste, perfect for those looking for a more eco-conscious venue for their celebrations.
There are a couple of different options when it comes to celebrating. For those looking to be a part of the action, why not book a table in the expansive restaurant? Suitable for groups of up to 18, you can take a seat below the site’s famous 3D printed, coral-inspired tree, in this sprawling space with its floor-to-ceiling windows and plush seating. For those looking for an intimate spot, Roe’s ground floor Garden Room offers a private space for up to 26 guests. This contemporary spot offers a similarly unique backdrop, complete with marble walls, or-like light fixtures and its sustainable centre piece - the aeroponic garden where an onsite gardener grows herbs and greens.
For larger festive parties, Roe's Bar Area offers a unique semi-private and beautiful space ideal for both sit-down dining and lively standing receptions with drinks and canapés. With a beautiful view over Canary Wharf’s water and access to a private terrace, it is the perfect location to host a larger group at Roe - up to 50 guests seated and 90 standing.
At Roe, you’ll find a selection of festive feasting menus showcasing everything that there is to love about the team’s inventive gastronomy and exploring flavours of both land and sea. Menus include Pigs in blankets skewers with sage and hot honey, followed by Tunworth cheese flatbread with pears. Festive mains include Herons Farm bronze turkey or dry-aged beef served with brussels sprouts and herb roasted potatoes. Finish your celebration with Christmas yule log with chestnut mousse, and blond chocolate and signature dessert Caramelised banana parfait with peanut and toasted vanilla.
On the drinks front, you can expect a selection of cocktails, spirits, Christmas sparling and an extensive list of wines. Be sure to ask the sommelier for expert wine pairings to accompany your Christmas feast.
