OPSO is a modern Greek restaurant and Christmas party venue in Marylebone, with capacity for up to 130 people across two floors, flexible layout options, and party timings spanning brunch, lunch and dinner.
The restaurant is split in two: the ground and basement floors. You'll find the main party space, The Larder, on the lower ground floor with capacity to seat up to 44 or host 80 people standing. Surrounded by curing chambers, dry agers and floor-to-ceiling wine storage, it already feels festive in a grown-up, food-led sort of way. To ensure your party experience is as fabulous as possible, the team also can help with planning music and using their sound system, decorating the space with floral arrangements, organising branded menus and name cards, and setting up the private bar for you. Plus, if you envision the evening running late, the team can arrange a later closing time.
For bigger groups, the whole restaurant can be hired across both floors for up to 80 seated or 130 standing. Guests arrive via the ground-floor bar before moving into the dining room, where the marble communal table encourages eating together, family style, in a way that works perfectly for Christmas. Seated dinners, standing receptions and buffet-style events are all also possible.
The team have curated a festive menu which keeps things seasonal without losing OPSO’s Greek identity. Starters include wild seabass tartare, taramas with bottarga and yolk, charred lettuce with dried fruits, ginger dressing and chestnut crouton, plus beetroot flatbread with skordalia, pickled berries and walnut. Mains include cauliflower roast and hazelnut crumble, braised beef short rib with mushroom trahanas, Mavrodafni red-wine sauce and black truffle, or halibut with nduja beurre blanc and potato purée.
To drink, the cocktail list features classic cocktails, festive specials and non-alcoholic options, while the wine list features over 70 labels that showcase the diversity of Greek wines.
