Whilst it’s always nice to get the team together for a few drinks at the local boozer and socialise out of office hours, sometimes a trip to the pub just doesn’t cut it. If you want to experience something out of the ordinary, and spend an afternoon doing something that will be the talk of the company for years to come, then check out one of the immersive experiences for team building and get chins wagging. You’ll find spaces that can cater for up to 180 guests, and are available for exclusive hire, as well as hiring out specific parts of the venue.

Of course, these work equally as well as birthday party venues and things to do for smaller groups. Most places will provide gaming spaces and tables for more intimate groups, meaning you can still get involved even if there’s only a few of you.

So whether you’re looking to stop aliens from invading earth, go back in time and prevent Guy Fawkes from blowing up parliament, or just enjoy a slap up meal in Hogwarts’ Great Hall, you’ll find an option for everyone in our list below. You can get hearts racing by entering another world with VR, or simply sit back and relax at a mystery themed bar, whatever it is you go for, you're bound to find something out of the ordinary for a great day out.
