Booking online

All restaurant bookings on squaremeal.co.uk are fulfilled by Toptable.co.uk

Once you make a booking online, we will confirm this back to you as soon as is reasonably possible, but please note that all bookings are subject to availability. A reference number will be issued to you for identification purposes upon your arrival at your chosen restaurant.

We do not have and never intend to have any contractual involvement in your bookings or other dealings with the restaurants on our site. Any disputes between you and any restaurant (for example, in relation to your booking, standard of service, food or bill) are just that - squaremeal.co.uk will not become involved.

Special offers advertised on the squaremeal.co.uk website are only available to our customers when booking through squaremeal.co.uk. All offers are not available in conjunction with any offers the restaurant or squaremeal.co.uk may be running.

Dining Requests - All special requests made at the time of booking will be passed to the restaurant by squaremeal.co.uk. However fulfillment of these requests is always at the discretion of the restaurant on the night of the booking.

Changing your booking

Should you wish to cancel or vary any on-line booking, you must notify your cancellation or variation to squaremeal.co.uk by e-mail, telephone or fax. We must receive your notice at least 24 hours prior to the time and date of your booking. Certain restaurants may have cancellation fees either for the table itself or for a reduction in the number of diners or failure to turn up altogether ("no shows"). Others may impose surcharges for groups above a certain number. If so, your failure to cancel, vary your booking or turn up may result in these fees and charges being debited to your credit card at the discretion of the restaurant.

Termination

In order to maintain our high standard of service, "no shows" at restaurants will be treated on their merits. However, squaremeal.co.uk reserve the right on occasion to disallow users from using our services for repeated "no shows".

We also reserve the right to issue a warning, temporary suspension or an indefinite suspension and termination of your rights to use our services if you act consistently in breach of the terms of our Charter, violate or attempt to violate any rights of any other user of our services or any third party or engage in any fraudulent activity.

Neither squaremeal.co.uk nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our site and our services. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties, except with regard to death or personal injury arising out of our negligence.

If you discover that bookings have been ordered using your credit card by someone not authorised to do so, you must notify your credit card company and the restaurant where the booking has been made and, if necessary, co-operate with the police in relation to the unauthorised use. We will not be responsible for any refunds.

Products purchased from third parties:

Where a product has been purchased from a website other than squaremeal.co.uk, even where that website has been accessed via a link from squaremeal.co.uk, squaremeal.co.uk accepts no responsibility or liability with relation to that product, and makes no warranty with regard its quality, suitability, delivery or price.

This returns policy does not affect your statuary rights. squaremeal.co.uk reserves the right to reject orders.

Law governing the Terms

Use of this Website and these Terms shall be subject only to the laws of England and Wales which shall exclusively govern the interpretation, application and effect of all the above permissions, exclusions, licences and conditions of use.

Jurisdiction
