Whilst many Cardiff residents and visitors to the area find themselves flocking to Thomas by Tom Simmons on a Friday night or to celebrate a special occasion, the restaurant also plays host to many weddings.
Food is at the heart of any amazing wedding, and that’s why choosing to host your wedding in such a special restaurant will undoubtedly prove a hit with your guests. Whilst the upper floor of this Cardiff restaurant is always available for your events and parties, Tom also hires out the whole restaurant for those extra special dos, such as weddings. The private dining space upstairs seats up to 38 guests and is available from Tuesday through to Sunday. The space is perfect for intimate weddings, and chef Tom will work with you to create an extra special bespoke menu. Paired perfectly with wines, cocktails and craft beers, your wedding breakfast will go down a treat.
If you do want to choose some of Tom’s top sellers off the menu, though, you’ll surprise your guests with dishes of tea brined, fried chicken with lime mayo, coriander and sesame, along with grilled Pembrokeshire oysters in a Champagne sauce, and a fillet of Welsh beef with a short rib and onion tartlet for your main.
